I can’t seem to find a way to minimize/reduce in size the massive “Account Medals” banner on my character select screen. It covers half my character and I feel like it’s obnoxious, especially if you’re just starting out and it has nothing to show…

My suggestion is to either reduce and move this banner to the side so that it doesn’t cover my characters and/or make an option/button to hide it.

I attached a picture to show what I’m talking about, anyone else feel the same way I do?

That’s weird….maybe try increasing your game resolution? :s

Thank for the reply, I didn’t even think about that. However, I’m stuck with Fullscreen 1024×728 because of my monitor (it’s weird and annoying) so that doesn’t help. When I change to a different resolution, it’s too zoomed-in (though the banner problem is resolved).

If it’s just me that’s affected then no worries I will just live with it until I get a new monitor. lol

Whoa. That resolution takes me back a lot of years.

In any case, it looks like that element of the character select screen wasn’t made to scale, unfortunately, so you are likely stuck with that until you can change resolutions and/or replace your monitor.

Go to Options [F11] and select the Graphics tab. Go to interface size and choose something smaller.

Note that this will affect your entire interface (which is likely a change that you’ll embrace at that interface anyway).

Thanks for the suggestions guys. The sad part is, this is using a Vizio 32" Flatscreen I bought last summer. It doesn’t even recognize HDMI input -.- I’m currently playing GW2 with a VGA cable lol

Implemented a smaller interface and the problem sort-of kind-of goes away. I do like the look of the smaller interface, however some of the text such as in the trading post is super blurry, probably just because of my resolution.
