Fused Gauntlets are amazing. One of my favorite items in the game. Back at that point in living story, I was playing my guardian a lot. I had gotten her a fused greatsword, and decided to use my fused gauntlets on her. So I got Fused Gauntlets (Heavy). My main is a mesmer, and as ascended armor is on it’s way, I was thinking how much I would actually like to use fused gauntlets on my mesmer.

Obviously, The issue is that the skin is stuck as heavy armor. I would love account unlocks from all my living story rewards, but I don’t really see that happening any time soon.

Why not have a mystic forge recipe for the gauntlets, which would be something like,
- Fused Gauntlets (you would need a transmutation splitter if you transmuted)
- 5 Molten Lodestones
- 5 Glacial Lodestones
- 50 Crystals (30 skill points)
and have the result of this recipe be the fused gauntlet ticket, allowing us to re-select our gauntlets.

The only downside I see to this is the loss of your rune (unless you transmuted, then split), and the lack of the gloves being an account unlock.
