Q:
A Guardian is my main character, as such I can only speak for my Guardian when I suggest these.
I feel like Guardians are not as “tanky” as they could or supposed to be, still.
I did some off the head math for this but. If it adds a 0.01% to movement speed per point to toughness.
then .01 × 1,500 toughness = 15% boost to movement speed.
On my Guardian, his current toughness is 1,991 (yes I know I’m pushing 2k) but more accurately it would be a 19.91% movement speed boost.
Of course when the buff activates; movement speed won’t matter too much because combat slows a player down but, with the trait activated. My toughness will go up by 150. giving me a 21.41% movement speed boost; in that regard If I was built for survival this would be good for running away and escaping.
There would probably be some offsets as well.
Example: The boosts can’t go above 25% and The toughness given by “Strength in Numbers” can be reduced to 100-125. Or that in itself can be based on level range.
Since you have to be level 30 to get that skill tree:
30 to 45 = 60
45 to 55= 80
Why the jump? usually at this point in PvE or WvW the player has many skills to use + skill points. The boost will be needed for better combat, to keep up pace with others and stronger NPCs. Weak gear as wel.
55 to 65= 120
65 to 75 = 140
75 to 80 = 150 (Why the minor boost? At this point the player will or should have exotic or stronger.)
