Items that are soulbound on acquire is very restricting. You have to use the character that you want it for instead of using the character that you already made to obtaining Karma (or other currency that sells soulbound on acquire items).
I have 2 characters and they are different from each other. 1 is a guardian which i’m making as my main dungeon character. The other is my ranger for any other PVE (exploration, dynamic events, dragons, and crafting). I use my ranger to farm those karmas so I can get an exotic set. The problem is those exotics are soulbound on acquire. With a save up karma of 200k, I can’t do anything about it but for obsidian shards and the 525k karma needed for the legendary.
What i’m suggesting is that ArenaNet should change the Soulbound On Acquire items into just account bound. If I remember correctly recipes were changed from soulbound into account bound. Just like recipes, they are hard to make and takes lots of farming.
If making items soulbound on acquire prevents exploits of karma, There would not be any changes to the prevention if it was account bound. Account bound is meant to be only for your account. so why restrict it to 1 character?
