OK..ive noticed this now a few times…

I’ve combined major sigils in the forge and received soulbound superior sigils in return

Examples…..
Superior sigil of the Nobel
Superior sigil of Goelemancy
Superior sigil of Nightmare

Can we please fix this….there is no reason they should be soulbound on acquire at all

Those are dungeon-only Sigils, which are all soulbound on acquire. It’s annoying, I agree.

I will also sign to that. Those should be freed as soon as possible.

Running dungeons for runes is dumb anyway.

Personally I think they should be account bound, instead of soulbound. It’s not like you can’t buy the Runes with any of your characters using the tokens, having the runes soulbound just sucks. But yes they should remain within your account/not tradable through bltp just because it is a dungeon item.

Dungeon runes are soulbound because ANET want players to run dungeon to get them. That’s why they are dungeon runes. Those soulbound runes you see from drop or MF are just byproducts of the non-descriminating RNG. They drop, but they still carry the property of being dungeon runes — i.e. soulbound.

if they were acc bound players would still have to run dungeons to get them… and im fairly sure a ‘red’ posted on a thread similar to this one about it being weird that they were soulbound (but that was months ago)

Make it account bound. You think that’s bad? What about getting six Superior Runes of the Nightmare on a character you’re not using a condition build for. That my friend is real irritation.
