I’ve purchased over 30 of those Southsun crates, and I’m wondering if I have relaly bad RNG Or something, All I want is one of those tickets, and 30 boxes is like 120g right now… Has anyone else had really bad experiences with these? I think Anet is just trying to funnel more money into their wallets.

how else do you think free to play games make enough money to keep updating the game? thanks for your support and good luck with your crates. you deserve a weapon skin for 10$. sadly you might have to spend more than that for it.

You could be like me and absolutely refuse to buy anything with a “chance” at giving a rare skin. If they just listed the skins in the gem store instead, they’d have a lot more of my money.

You haven’t been playing this game for long then, have you? You should take a look at wiki pages for said boxes and see the chances you have for rare items dropping. ANet gets its profit from players that are naïve enough to buy into the RNG game in hopes of getting something they want.

It’s only a money funnel if you let it. Don’t gamble money you can’t afford to lose.

Yeah. I’ve now bought 35 crates. All you people out there eyeballing them, don’t do it. Its a funnel for Anet, and its terrible RNG to get a skin.
