TLDR:: Add respawning bushes in centre area, enough to keep 1 person up, to encourage a return to middle instead of edge camping.

In the beginning SS seems fun and intense. It seems to mirror the movie for it’s mix of scavenging in the wilderness and intense pvp.

But very soon most players figure out that those that rush the bushes and then stand in the edge of the map will always win.

Those people get 8-9 rations, and even if the centre people wanted to hunt them down they’d be impossible to find due to the ghost train following them around.

The ghost train is fine, it gives dead people something to do. The problem is that centre play is exponentially dangerous throughout the game and not at all rewarding.

Please add 1 rotating respawning bush near the centre. Enough to keep 1 person up indefinitely.

This would change the meta thusly: Rush the bush, to avoid the FFA in the centre, gather some plants, and maybe get some arrows from the quarry, then head back to the centre to try and snipe people and secure the middle.

Ghosts will have a gauranteed meeting point if they lose track/kill their targets. The game wont tapper off in to people standing around waiting to die once the centre action has died down. And edgesitters will still be able to win sometimes but it wont be the only way to win.

The simple change would actually make games mirror the movie, instead of currently where it becomes a healthbar whack-a-mole with a single mole.

I agree they should do something to spice it up a bit, since now it is just a a race to see who can gather the most food and hide. It’s been awhile since I played SS for that very reason, since I don’t find that tactic very fun to do or play against and there seems to always at least be one people hiding in the boondocks.
