As much as I love a good Spvp/Tpvp/WvWvW fight it’s often difficult to find good 1v1’s to truly see how you stack up against other classes as it often turns into a zerg fest (minus Tpvp obviously). It’s extremely frustrating once you are in the middle of a 1v1 and someone from either your team or their team joins in and tips the scale in favor of one side. My buddy and I tried to go to an unpopulated Spvp game in order to dual, however, the “Play Now” feature automatically puts players who select it into least populated games thus completely ruining what we set out to do in the first place. There’s a time and place for team combat but I also want the option of sparring (gw1 terminology) in order to try different builds in 1v1 combat against other players/professions. At this point i’m not even going to get picky on how you devs implement this but please do so soon. I’ve heard rumors that its something you guys are willing to implement if enough people want it and speaking for myself and my group of friends we all very much want this to happen. Agree on the dueling thing. Doesn’t hurt anybody, easy to implement, lots of fun

Without dueling I am unable to appropriately flex my kitten in Divinity’s Reach and taunt characters shorter than mine into a duel of honor.

The devs literally confirmed that there will be dueling in the future. They need time to stamp out bugs instead of making new ones.

Yes, I want dueling too but there is no need to spam suggestions about it. It will come sooner or later.

I’d enjoy having this. There are so many things that could be done with this feature, such as mini guild tournaments. Would be fun.
