ArenaNet, please add more functionality to the sPvP spectator system. I’m sitting here watching sPvP matches (and typing this) while waiting for my laptop to update to Windows 8.1. Watching PvP matches in Guild Wars was like watching a movie. You could home in on a certain player or you could let it choose for you. Then, you could basically unplug your keyboard as PvP rounds took a lot of time back then… I wasn’t much of a Guild Wars player until this one came out, but I had the chance to check out the spectator system in that game, and that was something that I spent a lot of time doing about a year ago… The spectator system in Gw2 is awesome; having much better graphics than Guild Wars had is just one of many examples. But it’s lacking a few things that the original Guild Wars’ spectator system had. ArenaNet, are you looking towards adding more functionality to the sPvP spectator system in Gw2, like the kinds of things you had in the original Guild Wars’? If not, then why? So many people use it, and it’s very fun
Also, another idea that could potentially increase the experience of player’s in sPvP and would take little to no programming or production: Syncing up the battle music between player’s clients. Research has been done and it says that this could make people work together better. Also, you could make the “losing” team have more dramatic, or climatic music, while the “winning” team would have proud, epic music playing. This wouldn’t require anything new added to the soundtrack as the one that Gw2 came out with is pretty huge and awesome to begin with. Please and thanks!
