Sometimes it’ll be a situation kinda like the enemy is in range, but when I use it he moves just out of range, causing the spell to go on CD for nothing.

It’s annoying because players, and monsters, are constantly moving to avoid getting hit. But it’s not fair that a tactic is to get half my stuff on CD, and THEN go in for me. It’s mostly annoying in PvP, as that’s mainly all I am playing.

Are you playing with mesmers sword leap or something? Most annoying kitten ever to fail that very small ranged spell, then have to run it off and use the other weapon set or be quite a bit useless for 12 seconds in comparison to what you would have been because the skill doesn’t really fail to cast when out of range, or doesn’t block you from being able to cast it when out of range.

That’s actually one of the spells I had in mind. I use S/F along with a Staff. Fizzle causes me to be at a disadvantage
