Quite simple
i’m just getting really frustrated about this but exploring and surviving in wvw is kitten near impossible without switching server (which is what most people do)

but i just can’t get around the map without 5 guys cracking my skull open

so why not split exploring and rewards entirely from WvW and PvE coz getting my gifts of exploration are just frustration

just give us our gifts of exploration from the normal map exploration and exclude wvw, just give wvw mappers something else for their exploration like blueprints or something

people like me who just explore are on a double edged knife, they’ll call me bad and not a team player but nobody cares about simple POI’s so i have no other option to go solo and get killed by a mob of dudes, if that makes me a bad player well then i’m sorry i can’t solo 30 guys but nobody wants to go with me to explore

even when i ask about people to join in jump puzzle (coz i always get mobbed there) they kindly cough direct me to pve

so in short, i hate wvw

I reckon they should split the achievements
100% pve exploration
100% pvp exploration

And have an achievement
100% exploration
Obviously for getting 100% of pve and pvp exploration.

exactly but i’d prefer the gifts of exploration coming from simply pve
i dont wanna be forced to play something i don’t like just to get a legendary

One thing that worked for me while trying to get all the PoIs/Vistas in WvW was to hide and run in when my enemies broke down a wall. If your server isn’t capping the points you need but the other 2 teams are fighting over them you can hide nearby and wait for the gate/wall to go down then sprint in behind them to get the PoI. You’ll probably die but you’ll get the PoI.

You are still able to change server free you could always do that then just follow the horde trough all jumping puzzles and change back in 2 days. if you do this and don’t really plan on playing wvw make sure you pick a good server which outclasses the opponents and it should be very easy.

They really need to do something about this, I swore off WvW when the hacks started, there is no way to compete against cheaters when you refuse to do so yourself. Not to mention the thief and mesmer overpopulation with perma-stealth and perma-stuns/cc.
