Split the PvE and PvP
One example is stealth and backstab. I get that you shouldn’t be able to 1-hit people out of nowhere in PvP; that makes sense. But in PvE, it really wasn’t underpowered. Now it’s nearly useless.
I’ve found in so many games that the PvP “balancing” ruins the PvE game play. I hate seeing it do the same in this game. I wish they were totally separate.
The funniest part, is that -respectively- the number of players is probably ranked as follows: (in order of largest % to smallest)

Wv3
PvP
But it seems that the PvP set gets a lot of leeway, as far as “convincing” the Devs to
go along with their ideas. Meanwhile, as others in this thread (and many like it) have posted, PvP specs work in PvP specifically because PvP is a smaller-scale map, with
more uniform EQ.
This does not help in PvE/Wv3, where the maps are larger, and gear-specs are bloody well all over the place.
