Guild Wars 2

Please don’t make every event take place in Lion Archs (and if it so, not always in Grand Piazza). Such repetition and predictability tends to get old. You have 5 other unique and beautiful cities a portal away to base events on.

I dislike how MMO’s have so many other cities (especially GW2, every city is awesome), but they always make a central hub that you eventually love to hate >_>.

That is a great thought considering the Karka event taking place in the worst place for lag. There is already a high overflow rate in LA, and then they decide to wedge event in there… I hope Lost Shores was a learning experience and they don’t stick all their future events in a place that is thick in population and lag issues.

Even it out a little please, have the world be involved rather than Lion’s Arch all the time… I am already avoiding LA just because I prefer playing with people from my server, the overflow with people from other servers are filled with alot of people with a bad attitude and rage quitters…

i HOPE they learn from their mistakes and realise that having events that force everyone into one place are just laggy messes. Space em out throughout the world. Have all major cities assualted. Players can then at least choice what they want to defend

I have to agree with this but I think the unfortunately reality is that Anet will centre as much as possible around Lions Arch.

There is already so little reason to go to the other cities, map completion is about the only thing that has taken me to the others, I do frequently go back to The Grove to do crafting, it costs me more Silver to WP there (but thats an argument for another day), but I like the feel more.

It almost feels like they’re trying to hard to be all inclusive, but I really wouldn’t mind if there was some big threat to Divinity’s Reach – My Sylvari is a good guy, he has absolutely no problems running over to help out.

I think it will spread out a bit more with expansions at least (I’m assuming a cantha expansion with kaineng and an elona expansion with whatever the main place there was)

Splitting up the events in other major cities would be a great idea.

1) reduce lag heavy environments

2) give a new environment to play in

3) make the event more personal to the race the player chose.

4) helps make the entire world more engaging and not a repetitive (take quest here) kind of game
