Stealth Removal
Why are you calling this a exploit?
While I can agree that a thief should get revield after finishing in stealth, it should follow the mechanics of stealth which spiking in stealth is an attack from stealth, they shouldn’t be taken out of stealth just because they started to spike, only after the spike is successful.
I also disagree with having them taken out of stealth just because they did something. Their skills would become a huge liability if they wanted to use one.
So you can’t tartget someone in stealth. I don’t have a problem with it. I’ll admit my warrior has skills that don’t require target but I still don’t feel there is a problem and I don’t feel there is any need to be able to target someone that is in stealth.
I don’t feel stealth is unfair at all.
A topic about stealth stomping again?
Let’s just go with the usual note. You can also do an uninterruptible stomp using
- Stability
- Mist Form
- Invulnerable
- Blind
And pretty much all classes have access to one or more of those.
Heck, you eliminate stealth stomping, you’ll still get pwned 1v1 due to blind on stealth or Black Powder.
Also, you have to think about what the stomping does. It’s a 3 second channel with a very obvious animation. It’s basically a big neon sign going “Attack me now!”. Most classes have the means to stomp safely, or have access to other measures of surviving. Stealth, on the other hand, is key to Thief survival. Well, you either build for stealth or you build for evades, and guess which one of those is completely out-of-the-question for stomping.
Also, if you ask me, Thieves being able to stomp from stealth makes sense. Thieves don’t have much in terms of team utility, they’re mostly about the bursts they bring. So having them able to not only down you easily, but to stomp you easily makes sense. Because that’s all they’re good at.
