Stealth rework + anti stealth suggestions
Forgot to mention the edit I would suggest for Mesmers, Honestly I dont understand why a class that has the ability to spam clones also has a ability to stealth in the first place. I would rather their stealth abilities be removed and maybe give them more abilities to switch places with their clones to cause confusion, but not make the battle to the point where it’s unfun. Anyone who has faught a 3v3 or 4v4 where the enemy had 2-3 mesmers can tell you it gets complicated fast with both mechanics on 1 class.
So you basically want the whole stealth concept nerfed into oblivion, effectively getting rid of multiple playstyles, because you cant dodge roll away when you see someone pop stealth?
Come on man, learn to work with your enemy’s attacks instead of calling out for nerfs.

Dodge effective as stealth counter? seriously?
As both’s mesmer and thief view point, i’m gonna say that your chance to effectively evade what coming next is so random, that you are just wasting endurance.
The only effective counter to stealth, at the moment is stealth; nothing else.
With that in mind, I like to disagree with you both’s. Stealth doesn’t need to be nerfed or either removed. It does need an active counter like all the major shared mechanic available within the game.
I’ve made mine here;
Feel free to discuss.

shield stance/tool kit do a decent job…
but the only issue i have with stealth is culling (stealth breaks if they do damage – they arent still stealthed; just not rendering on your client)
