Stone Dwarves have been critized so much on these forums. Its always the same thing being said over and over again, to much like norn, can’t reproduce, to busy fighting primordius or the most common… Anet has completely written them off because they are to stereotypical. Though it is true Dwarves have been used in many past mmo’s and I understand they are trying to develop their own look and style for example the charr. But if you look at the lore behind the dwarves and you will find how much opportunity there is in this race. Introducing them into the game would create totally new areas that are super original, new bosses, new dungeons, a new dragon!! among other things. Also addressing the norn similarity, yes they both come from norse myths but with the lore behind the dwarves in gw2 they are nothing like any dwarves anyone has ever seen before. I would really love to see them as a playable race but thats a stretch, atleast introduce them as npc’s and create some many possibilities
