Not really sure maybe I don’t have this problem but I have dinged level 80 for the 75th time as it would seem while rezing someone the other day and it didn’t interrupt the Rez for me. who knows maybe I am bugged.
doesn’t gaining a level (well, skill point) have an affect on the guys around you? like it knocks them back or stuns them or something? might interrupt you, but would also help the battle.

not sure never really cared to pay attention, I know it heals you to full health though and resets all Cool downs ( well not 100% sure on reset CD’s but )
I rather like the levelup effect. It’s almost entirely positive with a knockback, heal, and cooldown reset. It’s also hard to plan around.

It does, yes. Its an AoE knockdown to enemies nearby.
I’ve never been a fan of “level up gestures” in a game. Its incorperating game mechanics (something which should be hidden) into the game world, which is wierd for immersion.
But gameplay-wise, its not a bad thing. Free healing, free knockback, free cooldown reset… I’ve never really thought “oh god no, not now” when I levelled up or anything, at least purely on the gameplay side.

Probably a silly question, how can you tell how many times you levelled after 80 ?

LOL Solid Gold, Honestly I don’t know it was more of a subjective guess rather than hard core fact. Although basically if you look at your skill points when you hit 80, ( saying you can either do the simple math and remember how many skill points you got through maps to levels ) just figure the difference and you can tell basically.
Although honestly I never remember how many Skill Points I have achieved through map so where the math is not a problem for me the recall generally is so I do guesstamations LOL
Why are we raising our hand when leveling up over level 80!? Its a major annoyance when you’re rezing someone in high level fractals and get self rupted… Disable this crap after you’ve reached level 80!
Hell no,this has led to some awesome moments,when defending a tower and surrounded by enemys i suddenly leveld up and All enemys surrounding me got pushed off a ledge outside the tower because of the knockback effect.

yeah probably well you could figure it out if you have all the Skill points in the game ( from map) that is 200 and your level 80 so that is 280 ( saying this is true ) you have dinged 64 times ;-)

I never said to remove its effect… just the raising hand BS.

I actually did notice that this interrupts mining, I didn’t realize it interrupts spell casting too. That is actually kind of funny.
Hey, at least once you get it at 80 you never have to worry about it again!
Edit: My bad, I forgot you level up past 80 in this game.
As you get the points AFTER rezzing I don’t see where you will get other XP while you are busy rezzing. (Except for an event you participated in is ending. Anything else needs you DOING something to earn XP.)

It could have been a mob you taged and your friend had gone down so you stop dpsing and start rezing him.
Although Like I stated before I have leveled while rezign someone and I have not been interrupted. Or maybe it just hasn’t happened to me enough times for me to even notice, I mean the chances of that happening on a regular basis is not very high, or at least shouldn’t be.
