There is currently a huge issue right now because some servers are getting huge amounts of oceanic characters while others have none. I selected the server I’m on Darkhaven because I liked the name and because since it was listed as a NA server I assumed that it would be populated at the times I could be on.

Well was I ever wrong. It turns out for some unknown reason DH has attracted a ton of Oceanics and has fewer NA players so at the times I can be in WvW it’s dead and at the times I’m sleeping (overnight) it’s crazy busy and we can actually win.

This was a major oversight to not have Oceanic designated servers like most other MMO’s. This needs to be fixed…

here at Dragonbrand we used to be WvW powerhouse till the sad misfortune of all Oceanic players playing everywhere else.
This past week on night 1 of the reset we got behind 100,000 points in ONE night, as a result of us losing so often and because of the past free transfers most large groups have left for “winning” servers that are packed with oceanic players.

Its fine they have a place to play but it kind of ruins WvW becuase now we cant maintain a dominance with our limited timezone playtime

That’s what I mean about them needing to add oceanic servers. This problem wouldn’t exist if they would have done this right in the first place and designated a couple of servers as oceanic servers.

Now we’re all having to pay for their oversight and it’s ruining the competitiveness of WvW.

Whoever decided not to have Oceanic designated servers made a VERY poor decision.

you do realize that there’s a large chunk of european players on NA servers, despite the EU servers, right? it wouldn’t help WvW.

Because then there would be 1 or 2 servers that would never see any enemies (or very few), unless they’re matched each other.

As a slightly related topic: Is it that there are no asians playing this game??
