This would be a really nice quality of life change for Ranger that I would love to see implemented.

As is now, when I change a pet out for another pet, and then bring the original pet back, its name is reset to “Juvenile [petname]” – what the game should do is store the names we give our pets, so that if I name my bear “Cool Bear”, remove him for another pet, and then bring him back he will still retain the name “Cool Bear.”

I agree.

I like to try and use at least moderately creative names for my pets so I’ll often spend some time thinking about it the first time I use a particular pet. But then I have to either write them all down somewhere or start from scratch if I haven’t used them for a while. It would be very nice if the game could remember them for me. Even if it only stored the last 4 or 5 used it would be an improvement.

Yes. I would love that. Even if it was only the last 4-6 names, that would be very nice.

I know the forum search feature doesn’t often work well, so it is understandable when duplicate discussions like this get created. This is a very commonly suggested item though. I know I’ve seen it get raised quite a few times. I agree with the suggestion too.

Yes this has been brought up many times before, and I 100% agree with it. I’ve also encountered bugs when going from water to land, sometimes the names transfer…Shark Bait is not a name for a bird…
