While working on alts, I try to speed through the story quests (its great the first couple times to watch lol) and when you do the story missions sometimes WP’s will pop up on the map/minimap for the story zone. Out of habit, I’ll click on this to fast travel closer to the current quest objective (since everyone is used to doing this in dungeons).
Unfortunately, it pulls you out of the story mission entirely, and you have to repeat the entire thing. My suggestion is to either remove those WP’s in the story zone or to make them usable as they are in dungeons.
Agreed. It is really annoying to do it by mistake
A few fixes to that can be to make you unable to waypoint while in a story mission, meaning you first have to exit the instance, make waypoints within the instance actually work within the instance or putting up a confirmation window, that can’t be bypassed by double clicking, which will state that if you waypoint you will get kicked from the instance
