Stowed staff
I can kinda see why a-net may be doing this. they may have descided that the stowed size is the preferable size for the look they want but may increase it when wielded so we can see all the detail and look cool. I mean. look how huge that skull is when wielded but when stowed, it seems to be pretty close to your character.
You can see what i mean by wielding staff and waiting until character put if off after a while. Staff that is 1.2th of my size becomes 0.7th.
I can understand that asura or norn need to have items scaled. But not between stowed and wielded.
I believe this is a result of the height slider option. Either the stowed weapon is the proper size and the wielded version scales with your character’s height or the other way around and the stowed version scales with your height. I’d bet the first is what’s going on here. Did you set your height to maximum?
As you can see from left screenshot crop, the bodom part of the staff doesnt even reach ground (thus my little complain). I think it would be better to increase staff height or maybe decrease angle between vertical axis and staff, and then increase it’s height to 1:1.
This is a little thing, but it is rather annoying. Normally i wouldn’t see the problem but the end-game griding is all about look, and when i see this stowed staff on me it makes ma pitty-laugh from myself (since i bought that item for a lot of gold lol).
