I know this has been addressed before.. but I’ve been level 80 for the first time for about a week and I’m starting to lose my patience with this place.. I’m trying to explore further into the island and get into ruins of Orr so I can finish up my personal story but I can’t cause EVERY waypoint is contested and I keep dying so I have to wp allll the way back to Fort Trinity.. Now I get frustrated pretty easy, like in dungeons, but that’s a good frustrated. This is a bad frustrated, I literally cannot progress any further because of mobs and I would gather a group to explore but 1. I’m a busy man and 2. There are few people that are going to want to help me out plus the amount of contested wp’s are ridiculous. I’ve been trying for the past week to keep going for my personal story but I can’t, I’m stuck farming dungeons now and it’s really upsetting. I don’t even know if Ruins of Orr is the same way or not, but as far as Straits of Devestation, this needs to be fixed Arenanet. I don’t know if you’re wanting people to group up by the masses and wipe out all contested wp’s only to have them taken over in half an hour or if the population is so low in this area that no one ever clears it out. A fix for this.. PLEASE

if your server isnt very active in clearing orr events, you can always guest on a different server. i had troubles with exploring certain areas, getting some skill challenges and so on, so i just guested on tarnished coast/jade quarry, cause most of the temples/waypoints are uncontested there due to high player activity in those areas.
