Gold, items, anything you like. I strongly reccomend adding an arena, several. Maybe over the ocean area of lions arch, or a flying airship. Regardless of what it is, minimum bet would be set at at least 1 exotic item, or 5 gold (something like that) So that we dont have to wait on unnesccasary matches. The reason for this would be that all arenas would be observable, with players sitting in benches in a gladatorial arena style.

Major bet events could be reserved ahead of time, with a system like no show-you lose or an appeal system. However matches would have a 5 min hotseat with a possibility of a tie, however you can only place 1 bet per day across your whole account, so dont spam!

I feel this could bring in hundreds, no, thousands of new players becouse there is a large playerbase in hardcore pvp that would just love this sort of thing… You might even end up having IPL broadcasts on 10k gold matches or matches betting on several legendarys, the player base can also bet on matches as they observe, these bets have no minimum but are peer to peer (might not be a good idea due to possibility of exploitation…

Add thoughts and bump if you like, lets get this out there!

I have always wanted to see an mmo add in gambling components into a game, so yes i would really love this.

Or just a simple gambling arena with cards or dice would make me happy too. ^^

Not in LA, because it already has more then the other cities.

Hidden illegal gambling dens could be in all the major home cities.

Pretty sure some anti-gambling group would get peeved about this.

As long as it’s gambling with in-game money, there’s no problem.

As for political correctness groups, kitten them. They will destroy what little rights we have left, if you let them.
