Hi all! A friends birthday is coming up real, real soon and I just had this idea.
Much like in Steam (for example, although many other places have this system) where you can purchase a game and send it as a gift to a friend, what if we were able to purchase Gems or ingame costumes/minipet packs/boosts/whatever and be able to box and mail them to a friend?

I think that’d be an amazing idea for those people who have close friends who also play GW2 like me. Could this be a possibility in the near or distant future?

How so, has it been asked before?

I like the idea of gifting gems. However, this could be seen as another avenue of making it easier for gold sellers. They could buy a HUGE number of gems when the market is down, then sell them for vastly inflated prices. Worth a shot though :-P
