I sent two mails today to send each party member a piece of food. BAM – mail suppressed. Two mails is not excessive…it is me sending food to my party!

I realize if someone is sending gold selling mails that is one thing. But please, please rethink this system. It is hurting normal players.

Mail all the food to one guy, have him take what he needs and mail it to the next.

They probably do this to keep gold sellers from mailing off gold easily. I would rather you not be able to share you snacks than have some farmer mailing off 100g every 10 seconds and ruining the economy.

I look forward to killing you soon.

While I do want some kind of prevention against spammers and gold sellers, the current suppression is a bit much.
My guild likes to do give-away events, and it will literally take us half the event to send out little ambiance/attendance prizes to everybody that’s there at the start of the event.

The real problem here is that the mail system completely replaces a trade that requires being in proximity with your trade partner (which would usually limit how fast gold sellers can send off their gold).
A related problem; you really have to trust anyone who you’re buying something from not over the TP, because there’s not even a CoD on the mail. (Usually this is armor/weapon crafting services, because its usually cheaper to buy parts than finished product.)

I tried to send a mail to everyone in my guild and I ran into a time limit/repeat message issue. Stop this! I know you think that somehow you are foiling spammers, but all you are really doing is annoying your paying customers. I know I am not the only one who feels this way, because I have read it before in this forum.

That is a workaround for a problem, not a solution. The solution is to fix the problem. The majority being punished for the poor actions of few is not a good solution for a community. I would rather this be fixed. Farming is part of MMOs, botting though isn’t.

While I’m really pleased that I haven’t received a gold spam mail in a couple of weeks, I agree that the current limits are too severe considering that mail is the only way we have to give items to other players.

I agree, the mail suppression is a pain if you are trying to run guild events with prizes or send treats.

If you don’t want to loosen up the mail 2 things would be great:

1) Create an in-person trade option like GW1 had in addition to mail for in-person transactions.

2) Create a blanket messaging feature where guild leaders can send a message to everyone in the guild via mail.
