The warhorn sounds like a dying giraffe.

When I first learned warhorns would be off-hand weapons, I was thrilled because I expected warhorns would have cool, epic calls. Sounds that would make me feel like I did when Gimli climbed to the top of that big horn-tower in Two Towers. Horns should, by default, sound better than they currently do, like my grandma’s asthma machine.

However, we could take it further. Different horns could have different calls, and as the level and rarity of the horn increases, the call could change, too. For example, exotic horns could have distinct calls one couldn’t hear with any other horn.

I know the legendary weapons have certain effects that are designed to show off the user’s achievement. I don’t have the legendary horn, and I haven’t seen it used, so I don’t know if it’s call is different or not. But if it isn’t, that’s a big mistake. The legendary horn should have a call that is louder or cooler-sounding; or that produces a distinctive effect.
