I am not sure if this can be implemented or not, or if it has even been suggested yet.
Bots: After a number of people report a bot perhaps that character could acquire an icon sort of like a commander, but a different color and/or shape. (make it smaller please! or allow us to toggle being able to see them or not!!) This icon would allow us to see the characters in a large area. If it was possible, I was thinking this icon could trigger the bots to have 100% vulnerability to damage, and possibly would increase damage taken drastically so they can die to even slight damage done to them. This same icon could perhaps make it so these characters couldn’t loot kills or gain experience from kills. Maybe this icon could cause a special environmental weapon to spawn in their “path” that we could use on them or a special monster (bot stopper) would spawn and be drawn to characters flagged like this. (Kind of like Dhumm?)
Gold sellers could get a similar icon after a large number of people report them. It would be fun if this icon would allow us to perhaps touch them once and get a “punch out” skill good for 1 punch per person, and limit it by making it account wide so it is not abused by logging onto all your characters. This ability would squelch them on all channels (and mail) for an amount of time equal to maybe a half hour (or something) per person who punches them. This time would have to be taken out of time spent logged on inside the game probably to stop them from logging on, spamming, and logging off.
If this was done, a fun title could also be added after you “punch out” so many gold sellers!
As it is now, could you PLEASE implement a “You have successfully reported [bots name here].” message when we report? When there is a large train of them, all with nonsense names and pets, it’s REALLY hard to tell which bot you already reported.
