I would like some actual content added, I know that you have added this SAB, it was fun, and this new dungeon for the story line which is really neat, but it’s only ingame for 2 weeks. How about adding some new fractals, or new dungeons, or paths in the dungeons that we already have, and some new armor and weapon skins in game that we don’t have to buy with gems off the gem store?
Anyone else interested in something along these lines?
I’m really disappointed that all the content is temporary. And not a single new piece of armor has been added since the game started. Only weapons. Whats with that?
Keep in mind, more living stories are yet to come. Being temporary is sort of a downfall but being awesome is what makes them so special. It’s also data for anet to analyze, which can help them in the long run to develop new dungeons (or paths) which will keep people interested and happy. If they released permanent new content (take southsun cove for example) and it fails, what have they gained? Results.
They then take these results and improve, figure out what players like and what they dislike and make something that is ultimately what the majority want. Player’s can look upon this living story as what it is, a story. They will tell friends about it will possibly pull more players in because they will see (or hear) what kind of content is being released had they of played it. Permanent content leads to exploits over time as well as loss of interest as it becomes a grind rather than a meaningfuly experience. A living story is a treat to the current players who feel proud to be a part of such an adventure.
In all honesty, I think this new dungeon should set an example for the current dungeons as well as future dungeons. It has a ton of positive feedback as well as constructive critism to improve it potentially. It set a standard of what people are looking for and for those still playing pve, they know that anet is more than capable of releasing impressive content.

It isn’t what I’m looking for in a dungeon, it’s longer, more difficult, and has less rewards, just like Anet does, nerfs everything and buffs the mobs, they want us to struggle, they don’t want anyone to have an easy time on here, they must forget that not only kids play these, that people with lives and families play these to, but then I forget that Anet is mostly a bunch of mindless idiots so why bother, they are probably all clones of the same idiot.
I can say I do like the new mechanics in the bosses, but they are still weak like all the mobs in the game.
And Anet has 300 employees, I have worked in the gaming industry before, it isn’t hard to do what they do so don.t let them make you think it is, I use to sit at night at my PC and write event’s for players every night so they would have something new to do every night, it isn’t hard, Anet just don,t give a shi%, all they are mainly focused on now is their gem store, and this living story is gonna make a lot of players leave like a lot already have.

There’s plenty of content. You just don’t seem to realize because you’re used to it.
However I too wish there were more PvP maps, more fractals and the missing map areas.

Who’s trolling? I’m totally serious, they add junk to the game let us play it and then take it away, if they have drones working on this mindless bauble, they should have the same drones working on actual content for the game, stuff that they add to the game that stays in game, and I’m not talking about this pathetic story line, this isn’t content, it isn’t a dungeon or instance we can run, they waste a lot of time on it and then they add crap to their gem store, I know most people just want more dungeons and instances that are put in game and left in game, and some new armor and weapon skins that we can get from them and not that stupid gem store.
And yes, when I say mindless drones, I mean the ones at Anet, the ones who think they know what the players want but don’t ever read the forums.
Good job on killing WvW by the way, let’s see how many players you lose from this patch.
