Guild Wars 2

I would love to have a choice of voice sets for my character, and I would definitely pay you a reasonable amount of real money for those choices if they were done reasonably well. I realize that means more files, but if you released the voice sets over time it wouldn’t be a big deal, and you’d make back the money you spent on talent because I think lots of people would prefer different voices.

I agree, there are so many silly lines in this game “The world is all mine”

At least you’d hear them in different voices, I guess that’s a step in the right direction. :P

That’s a great idea! All the have to do is get an actor in to record a set of voices occasionally and it’s easy money. I would absolutely definitely buy several voice packs for middling amounts of gem and I’m sure many other players would too.

“eat my dust” annoys me so badly when my warrior gets a speed boost. I’d rather him not talk if he’s not going to say something cool

For general game play (out of cutscene) voices, I think this is a great idea. I will never play a second character of the same race/gender until they either add alternate voice packs, or let us disable the voice! Two characters with the exact same voice would drive me nuts, which is a shame, because otherwise I’d love to play two human females.

Though, I would like it even better if they were alternate dialogue packs, too. Same voice or different voice, I don’t care, just anything to make my human sound less cheesy and full of himself!

I would buy any day. Just get some variety. I don’t mind not being the same voice from cutscenes. And yes, enough might making right and outrunning centaurs. :p New lines please.

This was the reason I rerolled. I got so annoyed by my female Norn sounding like a man whenever I got knocked down that I just made a human.
