Time after time I look in here to find the 97th re-posting of the same core suggestions. The arguments are often clear, well-articulated and compelling. What I very very rarely see is any hint that Arena is reading these posts or seems to care. From the perspective of my personal class, Ranger, we have had an endless stream of pleas to fix pet AI and to give alternatives to the fruity “flowers and unicorns” style of legendary weapons; what we get in the latest patch is a nerf on our only viable ranged weapon and not a hint from Arena as to our repeated questions. SO to all those who honestly do put a lot of work into framing your suggestions and providing research to support them – I say don’t waste your time.

That’s actually a good point.

Suggestions here are more to get feedback on the offered suggestion to refine it. I’m still banking on their statement that they’ll upgrade their suggestion machine at a later date.

I never expect Arenanet to respond to my suggestion. What I do expect them to is to read it and evaluate it.

The reason the same topics come back is because people keep recreating them instead of using +1 or bumping the original post.

Many of the people that make suggestion seems to express the need to be praised by Anet for their effort.

Other suggestions are just ridiculous and some are serious.

Anyway I hate being the guy having to read through it all with an objective and open mind.

The real question is:
Does Anet really read our suggestions?

They read everyone’s suggestions.
Can they make every change so quickly so everyone will be pleased? No, of course not.

Just because they don’t respond to your thread and say, “Yes, sir! We will do exactly as you tell us to do!” doesn’t mean they aren’t listening and reading. They’re wading through all the useless posts (like the OP post, that’s an obvious troll), and the legitimate posts, and working with that.
