Legendary—————-

Lets take the gemstore and gold out of the equation for the legendary mechanic first off. All items should be harvestable, creatable without the need to buy components via gold. Sorry Anet, i do not like your gemstore heavily mixed with this game mechanic.

Make the end of your personal story the start of your legendary weapon quest. Upon completing your storyline you get a choice of a precourser weapon for your class.

Make all items associated with the legendary quest bind on pickup and soul bound, this does two things, makes it personal, and keeps farmers/ gold sellers off the market for that particular game mechanic. Other items you may require can be created via the soulbound items you pick up hunt/harvest at the mystic forge as some are done now, only in this case you cannot buy anything to do so.

WvWvW——————

Trebuchet range needs to be dropped inline with actual percieved ingame distance. Ranges are simply too far for those things right now, and introduce some simple physics for trebuchets at least. An example is an arrow cart should have a longer range than a treb for obvious reasons.

Gold needs to leave WvWvW. Again sorry Anet, your gemstore cash cow has no place in WvWvW.

All objectives need to be supply point based, points at the start of the week, during, and tallied after. No gold involved.

Only three commanders on a map at any given time, one for each realm, a quick vote system can be implemented to choose the one with common sense and some semblence of tactics.

Seige weapons need to be resupplied in order to fire rounds.

A 4th antagonist as deadly as any player needs to be introduced to harrass depots, keeps, etc, at random times and often. The mechanics of this are easy to place and non exploits can be put into play if common sense is used to prevent pulls/dying kites/log pulls, etc.

The “4th man” will help prevent zergs as all depots, dolyaks, keeps, towers, etc will be harrased at any given time and need to be heavily guarded, loss of supply points will be devastating and mean something. Proper protection will need to be allocated in all areas. If you have enough people to zerg after those deployments, well then good for you.

The 4th man and all monsters/animal npcs in WvWvW need to be set aggro, meaning people cant train or exploit to drop aggro, you will be chased, snared and hunted until killed. The 4th man AI needs to be in keeping with the objective to destroy supply and those defending, attacking. A good time for all. Extra supply points are gained by this defense.

WvWvW downed stated needs to go away. Once defeated you appear at your keep or start location. This does a couple things, shows that loss of troops during an engagement has consequences and prevents current set exploits. The rally mechanic simply has no place in PvP. Skill use in a downed state verse what all characters can ustilize skillwise is another reason this mechanic needs to go away.

With supply now being important, it is inconsequential right now, more thought would need to put into assaults and defense, towers and keeps, castle, etc would not be rolled as often as they are because players would not respawn/rally, supply trains will be limited unless thought is put into the RE in re-supply during engagements, seige ammo expenditures, player skill line of sight (once fixed) et, etc.

All upgrades will also be supply point based. This will require thought by those guilds taking a keep on how to distribute and implement supply.

General, PvP—————

Line of sight needs to be implemented for all skills. Aoe will do aoe but needs to be applied at point blank distance. For example, if that ele is going to drop a firestorm on top of a wall they will need to go to the base of the wall and start that cast time, not safely toss it in from a distance as is done now, all heavy damage aoe skills need this mechanic (ALL).

Any other skill will simply land where it is targeted, on the corner of a building, side, protruding escarpment, etc. No line of sight skill should be allowed to land on top, behind or through the murder holes in keeps or dungeons or ledges by default unless the player can actually target the surface of the indended skill deployment area.

Gemstore——-

Needs to be changed. No ingame gold should be available for purchase under any circumstances, why Anet is doing this and supporting it is beyond me. Trade ingame gold for gems or buy gems the regular way, nothing more.

Put items in the gemstore that people want to spend money on (not ingame gold). I can think of a staggering amount of things. Items bought in the gemstore should be account or soulbound.

There is no worse feeling than that during an argument, you realize you are wrong.
