Suggestions on how to fix mesmers
Let me guess: your main is a warrior and you whine because you can’t move during HB.
0/10, by the way.
1) Mesmers can only have 3 Clones and Phantasms up at a time, total. Phantasms are the ones who deal the damage. Clones don’t do that much damage and are mostly shatter-fodder.
2) The whole point of Mesmers is misdirection, hence the stealth / clones.
3) Blink is on a 30 sec cooldown (24 sec traited), not 15. Portal is a 90 sec cooldown, and Phase Retreat is 10 sec, and only available to Staff Mesmer.
4) Moa skill can be dodged / line of sighted / blocked with Aegis. And while in Moa, you aren’t entirely helpless, since you can still dodge and sprint. Although I agree that the duration could be reduced a bit.
5) In your point, Thief should be taken out of PvP as well? Insane burst, stealth, teleports.

You can always tell people who’ve made no attempt to actually play or even read up on mesmer as they have all these misconceptions.
The reason mesmers are owning you so easily is because you don’t understand them and havn’t made any attempt to. reverse the tables for a moment and imagine you’d never played a game that had a “warrior” or “tank”.
Would you complain that he had insane damage AND insane armour? – because that’s so imba a class that has good damage AND good survival. The reality is that warrior type classes lack flexibility in terms of conditions and utility skills.
Mesmers here are the diametric opposite, their damage is relatively poor and they are squishy; but they have crazy a amount of flexibility and utility which they will use to buy time until they set up a perfect storm, and then drop the hammer on you all at once leading to the aforementioned “insane burst damage”. Just like you don’t try going toe to toe with a tanks, you need to pick apart the mesmer’s plan and prevent him setting up the conditions for a killing blow.
As a mesmer the worst fight i had to deal with was this guardian who just had the pressure on me non-stop. Couldn’t ever buy the time needed to set up a complete spike and what damage i could do was too small to drop him so he’d heal it off – take his lesson to heart

I play a mesmer as a main and I have no idea what you are talking about.
The four clones thing is great. I’d love to have four clones…. then maybe bosses would die faster. Or I’d die less.
“Tarnished Coast” since head start!
Thieves that run Cloak and Dagger with Health regen while stealthed are way more OP than any mesmer build.
That build is literally unbeatable if the thief takes their time.
Also, learn to mark target. If you’re not marking targets on a mesmer than you already failed before you even began.
I love QQ threads about OP classes, especially when the poster knows nothing about the class.
Mesmer Clones
2 clones 1 Phantasm
or
3 clones
Clones do a max of I believe 50 damage in a full rotation
Phantasm do a lot up wards to 3k.
Mesmer shatter spikes are slow and take time to set up properly. You not only have to get a phantasm and two clones up but you have to make sure they are alive for the spike. Then for an effective spike you need them to all hit at once.
Squishy spiker is Overpowered
Just like the people that complain about C&D stealth Thieves being OP. Hit them once with a good spike and they run away or die. Most squishy professions can not stand an onslaught of damage which is why they have the utilities to remove them self from it.
Play he profession learn how they work learn how you are being owned then apply that to your HB warriors.
