Switch out that useless dog with “Conjure Caladbolg”
reasons:
- I’ve never seen that anyone used the dog
- it fits sylvaris to have it
- traherne shouldn’t have it :P
- The Sylvari have access to the nature. Even if it’s not the real one they could just let one grow

It is more rubish then the dog. Maybe if you are a guardian or a warrior it is doable to fight with these rubish skills. but for other professions it is just hell on earth. Besides that the damage output of caladbolg on a guardian or warrior is actually lower then your typical melee weapon.

All for a new sylvari elite, sure. But not Conjure Caladbolg. Trahearne got it, deal with it.
Racial skills are less useful than profession skills, should be that way… although I suppose some of the racial skills is a bit too rubbish.

I think it would be awesome to have an AOE elite skill for sylvari. Perhaps one that tangles multiple foes
Forever a supporter of more male skimpy armor
Once summoned the hounds skill should flip to a secondary skill.
Have the hound do a strong howl or plant its feet and growl menacingly for some aoe effect giving buffs and debuffs
Either that or it should summon a fern hound pack that suicide attack into nearby targets causing the same poison and bleeds but hit different targets if possible.

Yes I used it… long ago but i did. I remember that my clones were also using it using all of the five skills so for mesmers that’d be great :P
I also think that it’s quite good in normal because it got nice attacks. And I’d be more than a dog that runs meele and instantly dies hit by one aoe of a boss.

Well all player summon minions are supposed to get the health boost that clones got a while back according to the live stream that happened a couple hours ago.
It’s just speculation they didn’t specifically say the dog but they talked and said minions ranger spirits etc were gonna see a significant health boost to help with boss one hits
