It feels really pointless to harvest anything besides t5+ mats. We have an excess of mats worth only copper as well.

What if we had a new weapon, using for example, platinum, soft wood, and iron?

There are plenty of weapons that can be made from T1-T4 mats. Armor and trinkets, too, for example:

• Soft Wood Weapons
• Iron Weapons
• Platinum Earrings

The reason the mats are relatively worthless is that the things that can be crafted from these items are easily acquired. The prestige value is low, so the demand is low, while the supply is high. There’s nothing wrong with that.
