I’m sure this has been beaten to death, but there is no justification for the retardedly high prices for T3 culture armor…

T1 and T2 sets can both be purchased for less than 10g, but the T3 stuff is like kittening 117g.

How do you justify this giant kitten gap?

To be honest, I only want the armor for the looks, because 90% of the armor in this game looks like crap and the one set that I like costs the equivalent to hundreds of real life dollars in gold.

If you insist on keeping this armor stupid expensive, atleast consider giving us some cheaper skins to use that resemble the culture armor.

Give us some better looking armor, rather than reusing the same ugly kitten skin from the Orr temple karma vendors…

Those are your T1 and T2 cultural armors/skins. Just use your transformation stones.

T1 and T2 both look like kitten…

First of all calm down. I like kittens but not when they’re used violently.

Second of all, it’s the progression stage, I just wish there were some you could use for karma rather than gold.

Third, I kind of agree. Some of them look pretty decent and I just want them for their looks, but as a GW1 player, I guess I’ll just stick to buying dyes and using heritage.

The T3 is the bragging armor, the closest to a legendary weapon you can get on armor “dedication”-wise. There are plenty good looking armor, crafted, from dungeons and karma sets from orr.

Seriously? I’ve seen better looking armor models in games that have been out for years… For it being 2012, 15 years after these games took off, and this is really the best I have to look at?

I guess I’m just disappointed. You either look like a lowbie hobo, or just plain kitten and those with deep pockets can look cool and as their profession intended.

You also get good looking gear from the final story quests, most people never notice that.

Here’s an example of some good armor skins… I’ll use screenshots of my toons from Lineage 2 and TERA, since they both have ties to NC Soft, which published GW2… they also happen to be my two favorite armor sets of all time, since I started back in 1997 with UO…

Also attached a pic of the horrible looking armor that I see everywhere in GW2… There are a few decent looking PIECES of armor in GW2 (as in mix matching armors to get ok looking sets), but the only real set that even looks like they spent effort on designing was the T3 culture sets.
