T3 armor should have perks
Nah, I disagree with this idea. And whats one good reason you “shouldn’t” have to transmute it like the rest of us are required to do with gear looks we like? Seems to me your asking for a in game change simply so you personally do not need to transmute them or put the effort in for ascended gear that the rest of us do. Seems like a fairly selfish request to be totally honest.

Not at all I already have 2 characters geared with ascended weapons I made (and I got my mats to get going on armor) but T3 armor should be something special just because it already is imo. It seems everything that made this game great at one point is overlooked. T3 was the top level armor why not continue to treat it as something that it already is.
By T3 are you referring to T3 cultural armor? Because Exotic armor was the top level armor not T3 cultural. It is simply a skin. Either way, claiming it is “best looking armor in the game” is subjective at best, but because you feel it looks nice, is no excuse to they should revamp the game mechanics just to suit you. Again these seems very selfish.

T3 is not top level armor; the stuff isn’t even exotic. It’s always been about the looks. If you’re willing to pay 110g for the skin, surely a little bit more for transmutation crystals won’t kill you. Buy some gems, support ANet, and transmute your T3 over a second time like I and everyone else is going to do.
i do have t say that the high cost should cover the stats. i can get a full armor set at least 3X better then any T3 armor piece costs.
ether make the armors on max stats or lower the cost, the skin can only go so far.
I think the T3 armor should have some effects on it like the set that was taken out of the gem store. Over 100g and there isnt any visual effects on it.
You paid 110g for a skin. How much do you think it’s going to cost to raise your crafting to 500 and then craft the armor? I’m willing to bet that it will cost more than 110g. Please don’t use the argument “I gathered the mats so I didn’t spend anything” because you could have sold those mats for the cash to not get the extra stats.

That doesn’t make any sense. If I own a million dollar home, but only have 72 cents in my cash or savings, does not make me a millionaire.

My point was that ascended armor will most likely cost more than he paid for the skin so why should they just be given the ascended stats? They paid for the way it looked not the ascended stats.
Well in that case, yes, I agree with you completely. They bought a skin, not full stat armor.

I wasn’t saying to give me the ascended stats… I said to Upgrade, like say 1. pc of t3 armor, 2. inscription. 3. vision crystal, and 4. gift of ascension, all in the mystic forge/armorsmith gives you new ascended stats t3 and possibly new much cooler effects… i don’t see this as giving away stats…
The ability to upgrade your T3 cultural to ascended without having to craft an armor profession could be seen as a P2W work around since a player isn’t investing the time for crafting and the gold for mats up to 500. Even though the stats are extremely nominal players would cry P2W.
By now I think most people who care anything about ascended gear have made at least one profession to 500. This means that those players would already have access to obsidian refinement and ectoplasm refinement. They wouldn’t need to put much stock into the armor professions.
Next all a player would have to do would be to convert gems to 119 gold (T3 is 119 gold, not 110, folks) and toss the mats in the Mystic Forge while their peers were left in the dust to grind things out and work their way up.
Another point to make is that if this upgrade system was implemented people would ascend their T3’s with in the first 5 minutes of its release putting some others who are at a financial disadvantage behind and creating a P2W schism.
