Hi, I have some ideas and suggestions for developers to make wvw more addictive and less boring. WvW is the only place that we can use our own weapons, items etc.. After crafting a legendary weapon and acquiring all high-end items, players will need some addictive battlefields to spend time.

- New WvW achievements are required, only achieving a text title for our kills in WvW isn’t enough. For example, like our 100% world completion star, you can add ranks, rank icons next to our nicknames and ranking system to the game.

How these ranks will be gained? With points. (I call them world defender points)
- For example, If we kill an enemy player in the battlefield, we’ll get 4 points. If we revive our teammate in a fight we’ll get 2 points, otherwise 1 points. Building siege equipment gives some points too.

- With our accumulated points, we’ll get new ranks and rank icons next to our names.

- Guilds will have world defender points too. This ll be a summary of their members’ points.
With these world defender guild points, guilds will be able to activate some buffs or new cape styles(cape addition is required), some new shiny visuals for their logos, capes etc…

-Also there ll be a guild ranking system by world defender points, this ranking table will be available on the game’s website and in-game window. Thus, players and guilds will need to work harder to have a place on these rankings.

With this rank system, players will have a better goal to achieve.
Also ;

-Enemy names and ranks must be visible, nobody wants to kill nameless unknown invaders. Also in such mmorpgs, many players want to be known by others.

-Only keep/tower zerging and spending time on knocking doors are sometimes boring. Pvp fights must be encouraged in some way. I suggest placing more capture rings to the map. So there can be more action outside keeps, towers etc.

-With these additions, also hardware/graphics optimization must be improved, so players ll have better fps values among the crowd.

These are my ideas, i ll be happy to see other players’ ideas and suggestions too. Thanks.

WvW is addicting enough. It attracts a lot of players away from PvE just to accomplish those exploration achievements. Impatient folks even want those achievements separated from PvE.

WvW has a rotation system that keeps things fresh every 2 weeks. Every encounter feels new – The thrill of combat is already addicting enough.
Something like a whole new reward/rank system is something to be left for a big expansion pack deal.

Right now, PvE is the thing that needs attention in regards to being more addicting.
Many higher-level players are all being concentrated on Cursed Shores or Fractals because of the karma / gear-rewards, and the traffic-level in other zones are dropping like flies.
ANet needs to find ways to spread out player-population better. Between Toypocalypse and Fractals, Lion’s Arch is almost always jam-packed making it a pretty laggy experience to walk through for people with older rigs.

I don’t mean that pve system needs to be disregarded, these are only partial ideas for making existing wvw system more attractive. For pve, I suggest dungeon “zergs” and some more collective player activities. But it’s a separate subject.

i dont like it, not with the GW2 pvp score system

(S)Pvp is a seperate game in gw2, we can’t use our own items etc. Not everyone likes pvp, so WvW points and ranks are needed too.
