Take PvE out of WvW
They should swap out normal PvE with livestock.
Servers have their own allied PvE mobs, and enemy PvE mobs will run away if you attack them. There could be shepherd/herder npc’s too which focus on CC’ing and retreating; but the retreats would be slow because its herding livestock.
They would all be just outside keeps and castles, and grant benefits to the area (like more supply) if protected, giving enemy servers another angle to attack points from, to weaken it before the final assault to cap the point.

I agree. Take WvW out of world completion, including it was a ridiculous idea to begin with.

It is there to give players the challenge of completing map completion. Map completion is 100% optional. If you don’t want to complete maps, don’t do it.

I think its important to encourage ppl to attend WvW which this does. I also agree that with some match ups, you will never be able to get 100%.
The solution imo would be to cut back on the poi’s/vistas needed from WvW say 4/4 from each map to get 100%. That way there’s some flexibility in obtaining them instead of all, which on some server matches are impossible.

Well, no one ever complains that there are defender-NPCs and keep lords to kill.
And those are still PvE.
If the wild mobs distracting players is a nuisance, then incorporate them into the WvW components.

Personally i think that WvW should remain part of map completion. Think it’s a good challange to ninja your way up into enemy territory to get your vista’s and skill points etc.
But i do agree that some vista’s/skillpoints/poi’s are too difficult or simply impossible to reach in a certain timeframe. Sometimes your server remains the same color for weeks. What i would suggest is to remove vista’s out of keeps, and make poi’s obtainable by standing outside the keep, without having to get inside.
