Guild Wars 2

I just discovered the Mount Maelstrom jumping puzzle. You have to kill one of the four keepers located of the map to gain access to a portal to the Hidden Garden. It would be nice if I could add markers to the map with some information, so that I don’t forget their locations. I am a casual player, usually online each day for a short period of time (say one week) and then offline for a little while. It’s sometimes hard for me to remember the things I wanted to do when I played the last time. Guild Wars 2 is very casual-friendly, and I think it would be a nice to be able to take notes and add map markers (and perhaps connect notes to markers) as little reminders.

I agree with you. this was something I was also looking for myself. would make it easy for someone to mark out routes when farming common materials especially for omnom berries or orichalcum if we could mark them on our map and then check later on and be able to go “okay, there it was.” instead of spending 15 minutes running around the entire area trying to find it again.

I would like this feature too. Maybe just something where we can draw on the map and it saves it would be a awesome feature and would help people out in remember important locations, events, etc…

No idea how it could be implemented, but I’d use such a feature, too. As it is, I take copious notes on paper to try to jog my memory.

This is a feature used in ARMA the military sim, so it cant be too much work to implement.

Just playing again. You give the player so much possiblities of exploring the game and things to do. There must be a way to get that information organized somehow. I am currently writing down stuff in Notepad, so I am forced to switch between applications.
