Targetting system

I’m confused, how is having two reticules a good targeting system? I can’t even make sense of how that would work.
GW2’s combat is meant to be pseudo-action not full action combat. It’s good the way it is.
I agree with limiting the commander icon’s visibility though. It’s becoming a real pain having to put up with them in PvE all over my map.
I don’t agree. I find it pretty helpful to have PVE commanders around. Recently it’s been very helpful in organizing teams in Cursed Shore. A commander icon is just a great way to rally people to one point, and get them to work together.
I’m using the commander icon for that purpose as well. When ever you need people for the Temple of Grenth, Temple of Balthazar, or Plaza of the Gods, everyone just rallies to the PVE commander, and we all storm the event together.

A “Guild Commander” Icon only the people representing the guild could see would be pretty nice imho.
in WvW you could organize smaller groups a lot better and the commander could easily manage those groups by just giving orders to the guild commander.
Actually I think I should make a seperate suggestion thread for this ^^
Update 5.9.2013: getting better ANet, still way to go!
A Lannister always pays his debts – For everyone else, there’s Mastercard.

I think he means the “call target” system, likely to allow commanders to assign different targets to different groups.
