For PvP They should just add Dueling, and add instant ques for 1v1 2v2 3v3 and 5v5 Deathmatch because i like how the game plays and how fights flow like your facing a boss in RP games but i don’t really care for King of the hill and Capture the Base type modes, some people do so im not saying get rid of them im saying just not force everyone to play that type of PVP.

Problems/

The only problems i see with this happening is that ArenaNet would have to make the Deathmatch fighting grounds and there would be a decrease in ques for people playing capture the base

Others/

Team Deathmatch could also lead to intense Tournaments, more Leaderboards, more variety of tactics and more

i totally agree with you…they need to add more modes in spvp to make it more interesting cause even if you like capture the base you get bored of it sometimes..
