Guild Wars 2

First of all, I’m just one Arah run short of finishing my personal story. And I must say that I’ve enjoyed the game very much. The lack of an option to repeat story quests, however, is a bit of a disappointment to me. So with that said, here’s my suggestion.

The Book of Memories

This is your character’s own private journal that he/she keeps in their home instance. When you enter your home, it is marked by a special icon on the mini-map.

It is similar to the Hero’s Handbook of Guild Wars: Eye of the North in that it briefly summarizes each story quest that you have done. It extends beyond this, however, in that it also encompasses the role of the scrying pool. You can choose to remember this quest by experiencing a flashback to it, allowing you to replay the content.

The catch? The quest reward experience is gone, as are the reward items. A currency reward still exists, however. You only gain experience and loot from the mobs.

To take advantage of this system as a new type of content, I might also propose something I call “Tokens of Memory.” These function similarly to dungeon tokens and are gained from re-living personal story quests and joining other players to experience their story quests. They can be cashed in for unique armor and weapon skins.

Yeah it could be like a HM for it and when you beat the campaign in HM then you could get unique armor and weapon skins like u said. it would have to be a challenge though like it forces you to have some help unless your just to cool for school of course and dont need no body.

I hadn’t thought about Hard Mode, but the Book would be a great opportunity to add in a future Hard Mode Personal Story.

I would say make two things for it, The Book of Memories would just be the basic everyone has it thing, but you can use a fairly cheap item from the explos (like maybe 100 tokens?) that you can throw into the mystic forge with your book of memories and turn it into like “The Book of Nightmares Past” IE hard mode personal story that’d essentially be an explo version of it, causing you and your party to struggle, this being said you’d be able to access the single player easy version if you go into the personal story by yourself or something like that.

can we also have the reset option for whenever our story mode get bugged this would end it once for all. I wouldn’t mind resetting story mode ( same action and result can still be the same. )
