What Is It?

The GW2 Workshop is an initiative to help increase the amount of assets (weapons / armour / mini’s, that sort of thing) in-game. These would be put onto a site for people to vote, and when an asset reaches a certain amount of votes, it would be implemented.

Ideally, a system where the players could actually model the assets, ready to use in-game (not placed in-game though), would be more beneficial..

These assets should be used purely for in-game, and not to make money from.

In return, any assets used would earn the player gems.

Pro’s

• More assets.
• People aren’t under the same time and money constraints as ANet, so they can work on armour tailored to each races skeleton. I personally would learn how to do 3D modelling, given how much time I usually have on my hands in work.

Con’s

• Copyright, ownership and all that legal stuff.
• Some may not fit in with the game thematically.
