I would really like to see dhuumfire make green flames, similar to the guardian’s blue flames. Just seems to make much more sense to me. Of course in larger fights where multiple people are laying down burning you won’t notice it much but I think it would be a welcome addition to the necro’s newest toy.

So I’m the only one that would want this huh? :P

No. I think if Guardians get blue we should get green. i seriously thought this would be the case when I saw the notes but

Don’t lose hope, maybe they will change it in the future, I don’t really see it as being an overall difficult change to make, imo.

Changing the color scheme of a "Flame is much more complicated then it seems, each flame is not just a “Flame” it is a series of pictures or a “GIF” that is played in game and each layer/level of the fire/flame must be re-colored/re-rendered/re-edited. Now, Don’t get me wrong if I had the original files I could do this in about 3 hours in photoshop myself but they flames would lack a certain sense of “Authenticity” (TY NCSoft for fixing your kittenty editing/hiding files client sided from L2 -.-)

Guardian’s Burn isn’t actually blue though right? That’s just the torch weapon skill animations?

The regular passive burn every five hits, no. But pretty sure if the virtue is activated, the flames turn blue. Also the flames from the torch are blue.

Edited: apparently putting the number 5 in front of “hits” is a naughty thing xD

I really don’t think it would require much… even some of those crystallized enemies in the game are using exclusive purple flames.

This most definitely needs to be done. It is a simple request, and a reasonably easy one to implement. Give necromancers green flame from Dhuumfire, and give Guardians exclusive blue flame from their applications.

Giving a little nudge here so important eyes might see ;-)

Could use more voices on this if any necros are still interested in the idea.

Yeah I mean Gaurdian= Blue fire
Mesmer= Purple Fire
Necro….. Pending
This would make the game so much more beautiful. The same conditions but different classes make the conditions look different. Man that would be cool
