The last of the old school MMO Mechanics
I think the Tower of Nightmares is certainly a step in the right direction. I already like it for the simple sake of there being multiple paths, and being able to go in with any amount of players. It also seems to scale reasonably well with lower numbers of players.
However, I would love to see more puzzles, and less spamming of CC and conditions. The constant immobilize, stun, cripple and knockdown spam is SO ANNOYING! Devs, please take note. Combat is more fun if you’re not getting interrupted every second, or constantly getting rooted in place. I think one of the best dungeons would be a mix between the Tower of Nightmares, The Mad King’s Labyrinth and Flame Temple Corridor. In fact, the latter is a perfect example of what an open world dungeon could be. I hope the people responsible for future dungeon content, explore this further. Less focus on zergs, and more focus on just having fun in a dungeon together.

Anet can only discourage certain behavior so much. I hate the fact that trash mobs are almost always completely skipped, but would the alternative be any better? Probably not. Same thing with speed running elitist.
I would add no more class system to old mechanics I would like to see go. The issue I have is they say gw2 does not have the trinity when it just has a different trinity
Classic MMO tank/healer/dps
GW2 system dps/support/control
In both systems you have to have your traits set up and be geared correctly to be the most effective at 1 of the 3 and class choice just means you can be very effective at 2 of the 3.

If most trash mobs gave loot and XP then maybe more people would take the time to kill them. It almost like they designed them to be an annoyance to be skipped.
