Now I’m not sure if I’m making a post and someone already did, but I feel jaded. They are giving away free digital deluxe and a hat to people who buy the game now. I don’t think this is very fair, my suggestion is to make the “Digital Deluxe Upgrade” discounted and include the free hat in the gem store. I honestly felt cheated since I read the news about the free digital deluxe and free hat. To others it may not be as big a deal but to me it shows me not to buy Arena-Net products until they have their “sale”, because (IMO) that they may care more about sales of the game, rather than sales in the game (gems and what-not).

God forbid a company promoting a product by providing incentives.

Seriously, you think this is new? Every company in the history of ever has done this sort of thing – plus, you weren’t “cheated”. You know what you have that new customers don’t? MONTHS of gameplay.

The entitlement of this forum is obscene.

Business 101

When sales slow down, you need to add stuff to sweeten the deal.

As it is, coming up to Xmas, it’s the perfect time to go adding deals like this, along with it being B2P, would make for a very tempting present for a gamer.

Like has already been said in there a bunch of times, there is nothing unfair about it. It is business. A promotion. All companies offer promotions and prices go down over time. It is the way the world works.
