After watching a video It opened my eyes towards the way the towns an stuff feel
This is that video
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcykr_Gw0Go

Now my idea for this is that alot of players who don’t know much about guild wars 1 miss out on alot of the story

So when you talk to a guy in a town that would normally just tell a nice story
Make him bring a nice instance up as you progress through it the box tells you a bit about the past
(Say a charr talking about what it was like with the fall of ascalon)
After the instance reward you for completing it with some experience and maybe
A new kind of point (lore point or something)

This will make towns feel like the npcs are more alive and also showing emotions and what it was like in guild wars 1 to guild wars 2

Please anet consider this

It will also help player understand the lore more

Edit!
Players costume brawling Npc? I think that would also be interesting haha but may cause issues so not sure

Nobody in GW2 cares about GW1, as far as NPC’s go. The entire Sylvari, Asura, and Norn races missed out on most of it. None of the Charr the playable Charr are anything that had anything to do with anything in GW1.

The reason there is such a small amount of GW1 lore in GW2 is simply explained by the fact that the world now has absolutely nothing in common with the world from 250 years ago.

How far that little candle throws its beams!
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.
