Hey all, just thought I would give my two cents. Guild wars 2 is a phenamonal game and I greatly enjoy playing it. But what I have noticed through playing is that alot of the world bosses and chain events such as the one in the harathi hinterlands need -to be harder.

It’s just way to easy to put it bluntly. If some one dies they just get knocked down and some one revives them.

What the bosses need is some randomness to keep the group fighting them guessing. I have heard late game bosses such as the ones in orr (temple of balthazar) are pretty tough which is great!

But more bosses need to be like that. Another example of a actually tough boss is the Fire Elemental. I love that one because its such a low level boss and the way its set up if your not organized (which most people aren’t because its a low zone which means new players) you will more times then not wipe several times before you can take it down.

Ande I know not everyone likes big repair bills but after you finally take the boss down you get a feeling of acheivment.

I agree with this. I think occasionally we need bosses like Kohler and Subject Alpha should be in the PvE world (Sure we have some bosses like that, but some more would be nice)
This could be implemented at a later date though, I’d rather sen them fix stuff for now.

Lower level bosses are intended to not be impenetrably difficult, but still require a group. I’m not disagreeing outright, but I will say that I would rather group events just have a slightly higher curve of difficulty when it comes to fighting in a group. IE have bosses get legitimately harder when more players are present. And I mean actual technics, not just increased health pool. Maybe give them a pocket ability or two that only show up when there’s X amount of players or more. Or increase the frequency of use of their current ones. Or both?
