Thief down skill #3 - stop the camera spin
Whether the thief down skills are OP or not, this is just a huge annoyance and there is no reason behind it! It seems like this is just a show-off. Imagine your profession has a whirling attack skill and the camera would spin around with you.
When I use the down skill #3, the stealth, the camera spins around my char. This becomes a huge issue if I’m trying to get away while down: go stealth and then teleport to a safe spot. But since the camera spins it makes this very difficult to find that safe spot again after the spin.
If this is done because it makes the thief a little less OP when down, then just throw out this skill, instead of offering this tantalizing combo, but making it a huge PITA to use, for no coding/performance/lore reason!
I really don’t think the thief downed state #3 skill is OP. I mean, the Mesmer #2 downed state skill is a stealth and teleport and clone rolled into one, and that one is immediately available…
I think the most likely scenario is that the spin is either a bug, or an “artistic vision” so you can see more of their “art” while you are downed.
I posted this before, thief is just a bad warrior in this game, i dunno why they bothered putting the class in the game.
And the downed teleport skill is next to useless unless you happen to be on a flat piece of ground. Try to teleport if you’re in between rocks … the time it takes to even get a valid target usually equals the time you need to die … playing an Asuran thief … might be other races have the camera at a more decent angle but with the Asura I try to NOT get downed because downed usually means dead.

It’s not just the Asura, I have the same problem with my Sylvari thief.
Downed state means button bashing skill 1, hoping for a rally or a friendly teammate. The rest of the skills in the downstate are downright useless. Teleport could have been useful, but yeh… having to take the time to find a good spot to teleport to = dying.
