Hi!
I play this game since its release, i have a thief level 80 and other Characters above 40. I started this Topic because of a “problem” (i see it this way) of the thief!
Lemme explain: The thief, without swords, only uses tiny weapons as daggers or pistols, wich it’s not a problem, in my opinion. The fact is that, instead of swords, thief have a really few good looking weapon… we don’t have cool skins, the models are not well-executed as the others’ and every skin pack as events or living story’s ones don’t give anything to thiefs. One thing that made me upset is this new “achievement chest”… at 1000/2000 achievement points you can have the new Zenith skin, but gues what? No thief! instead they gave ANOTHER skin to the greatswrod, which already, imho, has countless good skin, or even base models. The thief is the Char i am most attached to so far, but i almost have no more joy to play it with all the nerfs and changes they made to it!

To sum up. More dagger and pistol skins?

Dagger I can definately see and needing attention. At least half the classes can use daggers so there’s no reason to leave them out. Pistols, though, only thief, mesmer and engineer use pistols. That doesn’t really seem like it’s worth the effort to support.

Then again, they keep doing longbow and only Ranger and Warrior can use that, as far as I know. Shortbow is Ranger and Thief. Sword goes to at least half. Greatword also at least half. Hammer is only Warrior and Guardian, I think. So I definately think daggers should be on the short list when making a limited set like these. And pistol has more range of classes, apparently, than some of the other things they’re doing. We definately do not need more greatswords either.

What about some dark metal weapons, with shadow auras at the weapon, and shadow animations and trails, and then it could have some red touches as well, like red rubies in the weapon and such.

Ill be fine with a dagger version of Twilight with an extended brush effect.

There is but, They are like anti the theme of thieves, thieves are hell/shadow/dark themed. while zenith are competly opposite, heaven/light/Crystals….

Ah but maybe you’re just thinking the wrong way. MAYBE it’s all crystally and pretty because you stole it. Because you’re a thief. And you steal expensive, bright, crystally things.

I do mostly hide in the shadows, and these heaven things, give it to guards but kitten this is nothing for thieves…

The most “thievly” looking dagger, IMHO, is the whisper’s secret dagger. It even folds when you put it away, so it would be easier for a thief to hide it..

There are a several daggers that IMHO are perfect for thieves with dark motiff around them, but that said, I do agree (as I’ll always do) with wanting more designs..

Yeah, we don’t have any weapons like firebringer (sword) or immobulus (scepter), we do, however, have tear of grenth and jormag’s needle, basically, pieces of broken glass called daggers…

I hope your thief isn’t Asura. Then you’re really screwed.

You know that dagger looks like its a pirate treasure which as been in the sea since 1000 Before exodus (ugly xD)
